I am shocked that National Lottery Good Causes has accepted a grant application from "Save our Squirrels" for £676,433

"Good Causes" grants should have no part in contributing towards animal suffering or where there is a clear case of money being wasted on unachievable aims. If 900 vounteers couldn't control the grey population in Northumbria, and resulted in a threefold increase in one of the target areas, there's little point in throwing more money at it.

Please consider politely supporting my letter to Mr Mansfield of the Lottery Fund.

I live in North Wales and round here it is not so much culling as extermination. Recently in the press the "Friends of the Red Squirrel" and their patron Iolo Williams have said they would like to see the grey eliminated from the whole of the UK. What gives them this right? and does the Lottery fund know they are financing the destruction of wildlife, that can't be right.

Let me know contact details for lottery fund man and I will contact him
