Was chuffed to bits when I heard that the home had come through for Leon the cat. He was advertised on various places and I was giving up hope that anyone would take on this golden oldie. But a super lass came forward and away he went.
I am sure he is being spoilt running ![]()
Still have Polly still needing a home will have to look at press options.
Newby Max -rodiesian ridgeback who has sadly lost his owner. He is now looking for a home.
Possible some Rats that need a home too. Just waiting for more information

just cause its in America doesn't mean we cant act and save some animals lives. I will call on Monday please spare a few punds and make the call
URGENT TO HELP HELL AT NY KILL SHELTERS******BREAKING NEWS ABOUT MANHATTAN ACC***** THEY ARE ANSWERING PHONES AS OF TODAY 1/26/12!!!!!
I called a Deputy Commissioner on Monday & gave him a list of demands to reform the ACC. The 1st was volu...nteers are to be put on the phones to take adoption calls. HE MADE IT HAPPEN AT MANHATTAN!!!!! I have been trying Brooklyn & either I get a busy signal or no answer. I am calling him to advise that Brooklyn is not in compliance so he can follow up with them. THEY WILL BE ANSWERING IF I HAVE TO GO THERE MYSELF & JUST START TAKING CALLS. DON'T THINK I WILL? WATCH ME! I am the BITCH FROM THE BRONX AFTER ALL! Grew up there & NO ACC DIRECTOR WILL SCARE ME!
The next thing I will ask him to work on is to hold off euthanasia's till 1pm as adoptions doesn't open till 12PM & this will at least give someone a chance to get there in time.
I NEED EVERYONE TO SHARE THIS POST, TO CALL NYC 311 ASK FOR THE DEP'T OF HEALTH DEPUTY COMMISSIONER MARIO MERLINO & TELL HIM ABOUT THE HORRORS GOING ON THERE. If I am the only 1 calling I will be considered 1 grumbly person. IF WE ALL CALL THEN THEY KNOW IT'S A REAL PROBLEM!!!!!
Call 311 in NYC or 1-212-NEW YORK ( 639-3675), ask to speak to Deputy Commissioner Mario Merlino in the Dep't of Health. You'll need to ask for a supervisor. DO NOT FILE COMPLAINT WITH ANYONE BUT MR. MERLINO! They use the compaint forms to line the cat's cages I think. DEMAND to speak ONLY to him. You can say you have info he has asked for & if necessary, they MAY leave a vm for you. Go ahead & leave your info as Mr Merlino is very nice & understanding. Besides, I already went in as "the heavy" so you don't need to!See More

For some reason the donation that have been made aren't showing on my page. Might have to change the paypal button. Thanks to Fiona mathieson and Shellbell for kind donations.
Got homes for Lady, Abbi&Haggis. Just getting desperate for the rest as one family is emigrating and other home is only temp.

Apart from more cats needing homes the calls where coming into rehome rabbits. I don't like to take on too many animals for rehoming at anyone time as its not fair on the owner or me. So back to saying no sorry but letting folk know of the other charities to contact. Stressed with two of the cats are not coping with the loss of their owner, they went into temp foster care and are toileting in the home, cause they are used to getting outdoors. Contacted press so hope someone comes forward to help ![]()

Was fun to look at old photos of the animals that I have rehomed in the last 20 years. Even the ones that Foster carers have taken on over the years. Half Penny Farm have several dogs, cats and small furries that they took on through me and its such a pleasure to see there new photo on FB.
Will add some photos over the weekend. And the kittens have all good homes:)

Busy day with the phone going all morning!...one lady who is desperate to rehouse a year old cat within 5 days. Ni impossible..considering all charity/rescues are full to bursting an all have waiting lists....
Then a guy who didin't no his cat was pregnant..well might I use common sense..if you let a cat out and she isn't neutered then she will be pregnant. That is just biology. anyway away to add to rehoming list.
Haven't heard if Smokey and Johnny the cats are in care yet.. should no soon.
On a personal note;;having my son with toddler tantrums and talking to folk about rehoming is never fun hehehe:)
