P.A.W.S.S is a small animal rescue, based in Aberdeen, Scotland. We support a network of rescuers to aid in the rescue work in the future.

P.A.W.S.S first started in May 1996 and since then we have rescued and rehomed thousands of small animals, dogs and cats, many rescued from neglect and abandonment.

We don't have a centre; we rely on dedicated foster carers, who care for all our rescue animals. We only have 4-6 foster carer for small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs to rodents) There may be times when we can't assist in taking pets in due to this  We only have one foster space for cats.  We can't offer foster care for dogs in need of rehoming; however we do have lots of contact details of other rescues who can help with cats and dogs. And we help with advertising were possible

P.A.W.S.S. aim is to work with a network of rescuers to aid in the rescue of neglected, abandoned and unwanted animals in the Grampian region and to find them new and loving homes. Our motto is - Giving animals a second chance, Some of the animals that come into rescues have suffered years of abuse, have behavioural issues or have medical conditions which require long term care. If, for whatever reason, they can’t find a home for an animal they offer them permanent supported care. No healthy animal is ever put to sleep, so if they commit to an animals care that’s a commitment for life!

We also offer a lost and found register. This has run successfully for a number of years and is a free service available to everyone who has lost a pet or who is trying to find the owner of a stray animal.

We set up PAWS PET HOME CARE to aid in care of small animals(rodents, guinea pigs and rabbits) mainly through emergency, though also for holidays, were we can. This is run from my own home and can only provide a few spaces at anyone time. The funds made from this will go directly into PAWSS to help maintain vet bills and care of animals in long term care.
