P.A.W.S.S -PRIVATE ANIMAL WELFARE SUPPORT SERVICE

Hi I am Suzanne Mennie, I have run an animal rescue service since 1996 in Aberdeen, uk. The rescue was known as Pet & Animal Welfare Support Service (pawss) however, we (committee) decided to close down the charity in Dec 09.

However, the support goes on just on a smaller scale and by me alone. I volunteer and support many charity's in Scotland and hope you will support your local rescues. Please see the links for many of the charity's rescue I feel need support. 

 How does the new rescue work? I can't take animals for rehoming into my home, I can help by contacting other rescues and sourcing foster homes, in some cases advertise to find homes for pets. I can also assist with home checking on behalf of owners.

Welfare is vital and I continue to give out leaflets, advice and help as to the services provided locally. I will have discussion and information on welfare issues on the facebook site. Anyone is welcome to join me there for a chat.

So far this year I have liaised with The Blue Cross, Nykohla at Cosseted Critter, PDSA Aberdeen Branch and Half Penny Farm and helped rehome/foster several animals. Donations will be required for advertising, or home checking on behalf of owners.
